*Hebrews 12:12-17
1. The Prevention Of Bitterness.
–He talks about—the Weary.
(v.12) “Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down
and the feeble knees”..
–He uses—the Word.
–Isaiah 35:3-4
2. The Participation Of
Bitterness.
-(v.13) “And make straight paths for your feet,
lest that which is lame be turned out of
the way; but let it rather be healed”.
-a. the element of relationship.
(v.14) “Follow peace with all men”..
That’s the goal of God for Believers—
Rom 12:18 , Rom 14:19, 1Sam. 19
-b. the element of worship.
(v.14b) “and holiness”.
Bitterness affects your worship.
-c. the element of discipleship.
(v.14c) “without which, no man shall see the Lord”..
3. The Poison Of Bitterness.
–Look @ (v.15a) “Looking diligently”..

–Bitterness saturates the mind.
–Bitterness saddens the Spirit.
–Bitterness sickens the body.
